Fields of Ministry

An unexplored world of opportunities awaits… unopened fields… people untouched by the Gospel.

If God has been working in your life, it's time to get serious. It's time to ACT! Here are some areas of the world to consider:

NORTH AMERICA

(2 countries) - United States and Mexico

Our American megacities are bursting at the seams with internationals. God has given Fellowship International Mission many opportunities for reaching these people through one-on-one evangelism and discipleship, as well as small group Bible studies and churches. Hispanics, new to American life and culture, are being taught and grounded in God's Word through a bilingual church in Dallas, as well as through children's programs and adult Bible studies on the Tex-Mex border. We are also excited at the potential of winning many from countries who come to study here in the States.

Young people and adults, who are duped by the New Age or the occult are being challenged by God's Truth at schools, churches, conferences, and retreats by a former astrologer, now a Fellowship International Mission missionary, who found Christ as Savior.

Mexico is bursting with opportunity. From its gargantuan urban sprawl to remote rural village and everything in between… from rich to poor and the middle class… from those following traditional but false religion to those trapped in animism or enmeshed in cults and sects… many of these are finding that Christ fills the void, that He assures of eternal life, that He gives life abundant right now.

Throughout North America, Fellowship International Mission is finding wide open doors for ministry - from established and growing work in large cities to beginning ministries in rural villages. Ministries include evangelism, camps, churches, schools, medicine, teacher training, and music.

CENTRAL AMERICA

and the Caribbean (2 countries) - Guatemala and Haiti

Countries that have been hard hit by natural disasters are encountering Fellowship International Mission missionaries who believe God's Word and have a life that is changed by the Gospel. There are open doors through teaching students in schools and churches, as well as growing opportunities through radio programs, video and film, and open air evangelism.

SOUTH PACIFIC

(3 countries) - Australia, Fiji, and New Zealand

Some of the most beautiful geography in the world is enjoyed by people with some of the most pressing spiritual needs. Though the populations live in western cultures, they are secular and materialistic to the extreme. In their pluralistic open-mindedness they are blinded by Hinduism, animism, and the New Age.

Fellowship International Mission missionaries serve in these areas through children's ministries in public schools, leadership training for local church growth, and in grass-roots church planting and a camp ministry. In 2000, Fellowship International Mission missionaries began evangelism in Australia among the Aboriginal people - a forgotten sin-ravaged people who desperately need to learn of Christ.

EUROPE

(9 countries) - Belgium, England, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Sweden, and Ukraine

The spires on Europe's cathedrals point to the heavens, but the people live their lives in the depths of sin. There is an unmistakable emptiness on people's faces… in their eyes… as the historic, gray architectures mirror the lives of lost Europeans without Christ.

Doors are opening for evangelism in all of Europe, but the results can sometimes be slow in coming. Intellectual arguments and socialist mindsets seem to dominate conversations about religion, yet in many places our missionaries are finding hearts open to the Gospel, especially in Eastern Europe.

Fellowship International Mission needs people who are able to persevere and be faithful in sowing God's Word in soils trampled hard by the enemy.

SOUTH AMERICA

(3 countries) - Bolivia, Brazil, and Venezuela

Roman Catholicism is much more than the religion here - it pervades the entire culture. To be South American is to be Roman Catholic. And yet it can be quite superficial. But whether a religious facade or a deep faith, this combined with political upheaval and civil unrest makes persecution of Christians a constant reality.

Evangelical Christianity is making headway. The Gospel is "the power of God unto salvation" and God is leaving Himself a witness in these lands that call themselves Christian, but are far from Christ.

ASIA

(4 countries) - Japan, Thailand, and two others

Christianity continues to slowly advance in lands that otherwise hold tightly to Buddhism and Shintoism as well as a variety of other cults. Grass roots evangelism and disciple-making work is carried on in several strategic locations by Fellowship International Mission missionaries. Through English and computer classes, children and young people are learning the wonderful story of God's redemption. Books are being translated to help believers grow in their new-found faith.

But the missionary work is not only to Japanese - US military personnel and their families come to faith in Christ as they are stationed at an American military base. There, a church with a Fellowship International Mission missionary pastor, has been established; one that preaches the Gospel and helps men and women deepen their commitment to the Lord.

AFRICA

(9 countries) Benin, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Niger Republic, Senegal, Uganda, and one other

Danger… Hostility… Persecution seem to be the watchwords for missions work in Africa. Many countries where Fellowship International Mission people are working - whether "closed" countries or those considered "open" - are promoting or allowing active persecution of Christians. Still, God's Word is able to penetrate hearts and revolutionize lives.

Mature Christians are being trained in Bible and ministry methods to enable them to reach other language groups and remote villages with the Gospel. In another country, a children's home is seeing much spiritual fruit among the young people raised there.

The African church is not only surviving the enemy's assault, but is seizing wonderful new opportunities for preaching the Gospel and making disciples.
